Co-hosted and co-organized with Land Kärnten and Kärntner Wirtschaftsförderungs Fonds (KWF), the Alpe-Adria Reception is our main event at the European Forum Alpbach. At our reception, scholarship holders, returners, as well as sponsors and supporters are invited.

Bridging people

The Reception is the perfect occasion to bring together different actors from the Alpe Adria Region, comprised by Austria, Northern Italy and Slovenia. For companies and organizations, it is an opportunity to network and share practices; for our scholarship holders, it is a chance to better get to know companies and entities active in our region.

At our Reception, we also invite experts, politicians, and important stakeholders who are in Alpbach to represent their fields, ranging from politics, to science, to research and innovation, and many more. Thus, the Alpe Adria Reception becomes an occasion for community building, where different people from within and outside the region get together. Additionally, we also invite three speakers from each region to discuss some of the most pressing concerns of our region, ongoing trends, and share best practices for the further development of cross-border cooperation within the Alpe Adria Region.

The beginning and the way ahead

The first edition of the Alpe-Adria Reception in Alpbach took place in August 2018, which also coincided with the 15th anniversary of our Club!

In 2024, the seventh edition of the Alpe Adria Reception took place, and, as in the previous years, it was a great succes! At EFA24, young entrepreneurs from the Alpe Adria region shared insights about their entrepreneurial endeavors, how they address current challenges, and what they learned from their journey as founders. As per usual, the reception was also an excellent opportunity for scholarship holders and guests to expand their networks and build bridges within and beyond our beautiful region.
