Predstavitev štipendijskega programa Kluba Alpbach Senza Confini

Peter Suhodolčan in Peter Peršolja bosta predstavila štipendijski program našega kluba, ki že 17 let podeljuje štipendije za udeležbo na forumu mladim do 30. leta, ki živijo v Sloveniji, severni Italiji in na Koroškem v Avstriji, ali so v tej regiji pridobili večino svoje izobrazbe.

Na dogodku boste izvedeli več o programu foruma 202p in o pogojih ter uporabnih namigih za uspešno prijavo za štipendijo Kluba Alpbach Senza Confini, ki krije kotizacijo za dogodek v vrednosti 1.500 € ter stroške bivanja v času foruma v Alpbachu.

We are co-hosting an Alpbach Dialog with European Forum Alpbach about #sustainability and #forestry at the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt.

Vor dem 75-Jahr-Jubiläum des Europäischen Forums Alpbach, geht der Alpbach-Dialog auf Tournee. Erste Station ist Klagenfurt, in dessen Stadion seit kurzem ja ein Wald steht – ein Mischwald, wie er in der freien Natur kaum noch zu finden ist.
Gerade in Zeiten der Klimakrise wirft der Anblick eines Waldes drängende Fragen auf: Welche Lehren können wir aus dem „Sozialsystem“ ziehen, das in einem Wald herrscht? Wenn wir eine nachhaltige Ressourcenverwendung anstreben, wie muss dann eine nachhaltige Forst- und auch Bauwirtschaft in Österreich aussehen? Welche zukunftsfähigen Modelle werden bereits erprobt?

Nach der Diskussion im VIP-Raum haben Sie die Möglichkeit, „For Forest“ gemeinsam mit Klaus Littmann von den Rängen des Stadions zu betrachten.

The season is finally getting warmer and we understand the consequent increasing need to feel fresher. In order to do so, we plan to organise a wine-tasting event to enjoy some quality time and have the chance to catch up!

We selected the winery Piemontissimo, apparently an institution of the Wiener wine scene. Join us to taste 5 different wines for the price of 14€ and enjoy the company of the other club members. The latter will be actually for free!

Project presentation #myeurope

The European elections are coming up. But do we even know what kind of institution this is, the composition of which we will determine anew between 24 and 26 May? Which functions does the European Parliament fulfil in the EU institutional complex and how did the European Parliament become what it is today?

Talks:
Katharina Meissner and Magnus Schöller are postdocs at the Centre for European Integration Research. In their talk they will present excerpts from their book “European Parliament Ascendant – Parliamentary Strategies of Self-Empowerment in the EU”, in which, together with their co-authors, they illuminate the strengthening of the European Parliament in the EU institutional complex.

Nikolaus Kandolf is a PhD student of physics and alumni of Club Alpbach Senza Confini. Over the course of the past year he has immersed himself in the European legislative process and the workings of the EU institutions. In his keynote lecture, Nikolaus will present an overview of European legislation and interesting facts around the upcoming European elections.

#myeurope – Project presentation:
The Forum Alpbach Network has set itself the goal to contribute to the discussion surrounding the upcoming European elections. We therefore created the video project #myeurope with which numerous voices from all over Europe are collected and spread over the channels of the network.

#myeurope offers a pan-European perspective and creates awareness for a common Europe based on solidarity.
